Take it easy and live life the way you wish to live it, no pressure, no noise, no war, no fear, just nature, the animals you care for, the tent, the grass, the rain, the simple demands of nature, moving with the seasons and living day by day in the open. That was life for many of the Shahsavans who lived on the fertile plains of Moghan by the shores of the Aras River.
Such was the state of mind of the woman who wove this runner, not for you or for me, not for a designer in the city, not for money, but out of love, out of the simple wish to pass the time, to enjoy a moment of daydreaming while her hands moved over the loom. The patterns formed freely, carelessly, happily, revealing a beautiful soul and pure happiness.
