Creating Persian collages has been an artistic journey for us. Over the years, we gathered damaged and incomplete kilims and flatweaves from different parts of Iran, preserving the finest sections and giving them a new life through careful patchwork and composition.
This striking piece brings together fragments of old kilims from Kurdistan, Azerbaijan, and Zanjan, each carrying its own history, colours, and weaving traditions. By combining these diverse elements into a single composition, the result becomes more than a rug, it becomes a celebration of the rich variety of Persian tribal weaving.
The geometric motifs, bold colours, and contrasting patterns create a dynamic visual rhythm that feels remarkably contemporary, while every fragment retains the authenticity and character of its original weaving.
