This contemporary Qashqai rug is woven entirely in wool on a wool foundation, with the field left in its natural, undyed state. The soft brown tone of the background comes directly from the fleece itself, allowing the quality of the wool and the clarity of the motifs to speak without interference.

The design follows the language of classic Qashqai weaving, animals, flowers and small talismanic symbols scattered freely across the field.
