A Zanjan Mussel rug, 27851 182x91

SGD 1,100.00

This Zanjan rug was woven by Shahsavan tribes settled in the region, circa 1960s. It is made with hand-spun wool on a cotton foundation and dyed using natural colours.

The design features stylised birds, trees, and fish, traditional tribal symbols associated with life, protection, and abundance. The quality of the wool and the depth of the dyes give the rug a strong presence and lasting appeal.

A Persian village rug with clear cultural character and decorative strength.
