This mid-20th-century Qum carpet comes from a period of great artistic success, when Kashan masters established new workshops in Qum and employed the most talented craftsmen. They created superb patterns rooted in centuries of tradition, using exceptional wool and natural dyes. The beautiful example here reflects that golden era of Persian weaving.
